How did Todd Lisowe die? What was his cause of death?
A tragic snowmobile accident in Michigan has claimed the life of a 42-year-old man from Wisconsin. Todd Lisowe was operating his snowmobile on Thursday morning when he crashed into an approaching trail groomer, resulting in his death. The accident occurred south of Crystal Falls at around 11:45 a.m. CST, along Snowmobile Trail UP 113.
According to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources conservation officers, Lisowe was the first rider traveling south with three other Wisconsin snowmobilers between U.S. Highway 2 and Stager Lake Road. They were going from Big Bay in Marquette County to Pembine, Wisconsin. Unfortunately, this incident marks the 15th snowmobile fatality in Michigan this winter. Conservation officers believe that excessive speed was the primary cause of the accident. Neither the groomer operator nor the passenger in the vehicle were injured.
In Michigan, there were a total of 13 snowmobiling fatalities last winter, with 12 of those incidents occurring in the winter of 2020–2021.The authorities urge all snowmobilers to be cautious and mindful of their speed to prevent any more fatal accidents in the future.

In addition, riders are urged to anticipate and watch out for trail groomers, as these large vehicles can be difficult to spot and can pose a significant risk to snowmobilers if an accident occurs.
