Navy Yard DC Shooting

The US Capitol Police and Metropolitan Police Department are actively engaged in responding to an incident involving shooting suspects fleeing from law enforcement in a Navy Yard apartment complex. Reports indicate that the suspects were spotted near a vehicle linked to a previous shooting in Washington, D.C.

Authorities were alerted to the presence of shooting suspects after officers identified a vehicle associated with a prior shooting incident in the nation’s capital. Upon spotting the vehicle, individuals believed to be connected to the previous shooting fled into an apartment complex situated along the 800 block of New Jersey Avenue, Southeast.

The Metropolitan Police Department and US Capitol Police have joined forces to apprehend the suspects who evaded law enforcement by seeking refuge in the apartment complex. Both agencies are working in tandem to locate and detain the individuals involved in the incident.
