Been rather choked up all day from the news received this morning! Love to all the friends and community.. it was 6 years ago today when this picture was taken, when we did a run in western Canada with ETBD.. the posts I’m seeing today all reflect the time that Ben would take individually with everyone.. for me it’s no different, we had many 1 on 1 hangs and conversation.. he’s been around for many important times in my life! This sucks. Just heard the devastating news about Ben Sir. A ridiculously talented songwriter and singer whose albums have always been in heavy rotation. I was looking forward to hearing new material that he had been working on. But more importantly a great human being who went out of his way to make everyone feel welcome. When you talked to him he made you feel like you were the only person in the room. They didn’t happen nearly enough, but I’ll miss our chats about punk rock and life.
