Judy Sjoberg

Judy Sjoberg, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024, at the age of 80, after bravely battling Alzheimer’s disease. Her family is deeply saddened by the loss, but they find comfort in the cherished memories of her remarkable life.


Who was Judy Sjoberg?

Judy Sjoberg was born on September 13, 1943, in Manhattan, Kansas. She grew up surrounded by a loving family. She attended the University of Kansas, where she pledged Alpha Phi, before following her heart to the University of Colorado in Boulder, where she completed her college education.

On May 24, 1964, Judy married the love of her life, Dave Sjoberg. Together, they raised two children, Scott and Kristen. Judy was an extraordinary mother, dedicating herself to her family with unwavering love and support.


Celebration of Life

A celebration of Judy’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd, at 1:00 PM in the Wesley Chapel at Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas, with a reception to follow. Attendees are encouraged to wear blue to honor Judy and her beautiful blue eyes.


Final Resting Place

Judy will be laid to rest next to her parents in Dighton, Kansas, at a Hineman family reunion this spring. This final resting place holds special significance for Judy and her family.
