How did Jason Gans die? What was his Cause of death?
A young motorcyclist named Jason Gans lost his life after crashing into the back of an SUV that was making a U-turn outside Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn. According to police reports, the incident occurred around 2:05 p.m. on Friday, as Gans was traveling east on Poly Place at Seventh Ave. in Bay Ridge. The SUV driver, a 54-year-old man, suddenly swerved into the opposite lane in front of Gans. Despite trying to avoid the collision, Gans was unable to do so and hit the rear of the SUV, which caused him to be thrown off his motorcycle. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) immediately took him to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
Gans was a resident of Bergen Beach, located about 10 miles from the crash site. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene, and as per the latest update, no charges have been filed against him.
