Tributes to Roy Wiegand

Jason Johnson Posted,

Roy Wiegand was one of my favorite musicians ever. He was charitable, humble, a great family man, talented, positive and very funny. It’s fitting that he died while riding bike during a month long ride to raise money and awareness about water availability for tribes of First Nations. He was a generous wonderful person.

Billy Mitchell Posted,

We have lost a truly, inspiring human being. Roy Wiegand, a gifted trumpet player and musician, was a humanitarian who was taken from us in a road accident, as he cycled cross country to raise money for the Navajo Indian water project.

I am devastated! The few times that we performed together I grew to love him as a wonderful human being. I will honor him by supporting the cause he died for. The Navajo Water Project.

God bless you my Brother!
