He graduated from JSerra Catholic High School in 2020 and had a passion for golf. He was a talented player, earning several accolades and participating in all matches for his high school team during his junior and senior years.

He went on a mission trip to Piura, Peru, during his junior year of high school, where he made a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Riley continued his education at California State University at Chico after high school, where he was working towards obtaining a PGA teaching credential. In his free time, he had a passion for basketball, particularly the Lakers, and enjoyed riding dirt bikes. These interests rounded out his love for golf and made him a well-rounded individual.

Funeral Arrangements
Riley’s funeral will be held on February 15th, 2023 at 12 PM at St. William Catholic Church located at 6410 Santa Lucia Road, Atascadero, CA 93422 (the time of the local mass is yet to be announced). The Sullivan family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Riley Sullivan Memorial Scholarship Fund in honor of his memory. This scholarship fund is a fitting way to pay tribute to Riley’s life and to support future generations of students who share his passion and spirit.
