On a Sunday evening, Garrith Jamieson, a spokesperson for ALS Paramedics, shared that their team quickly responded to a shooting incident at the mall before 6 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered two separate active crime scenes. The first occurred at the robots outside the mall, where a police officer had been shot. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, the officer unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
The second scene unfolded inside the mall itself. Paramedics provided treatment and transported two females, one of whom was pregnant, both of whom had been assaulted during the alleged robbery. The paramedics provided on-site treatment, stabilizing the patients before transferring them to the hospital for further care.
