Parker McNeal, a former student at Elizabeth City Middle School and the cherished son of Steve McNeal and Rebecca Taylor Mcneal, tragically and suddenly passed away on August 12th. This unexpected loss has left his family, friends, and loved ones overwhelmed with grief and sorrow.
Who Was Parker Mcneal?
Parker lived in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He really enjoyed fishing, playing video games, and spending time with his wonderful friends. Parker was about to begin his first year of high school on August 28th. He was so excited about all the cool stuff that was going to happen this year. He was looking forward to his very first day of high school, his 16th birthday celebration, and even getting his driver’s license. He had a lot of awesome things ahead of him.
Parker Mcneal Died: What Was His Cause of Death?
Parker James Allen Mcneal passed away peacefully at 1:15 a.m. on August 12th at Norfolk Sentara General Hospital. For those who might not be aware of what happened, Parker was accidentally shot by a close friend in his own bedroom on August 9th. Elizabeth City Middle School shared a message filled with deep feelings on their Facebook page:
It is with a very heavy heart that we share that one of our former students Parker McNeal has passed away. We are in prayer for his parents Steve McNeal and Rebecca Taylor Mcneal. Also for his sisters and the remaining family members.
We will allow our students to come together Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 6 pm in the football stadium between ECMS and PCHS as a school family to celebrate his life with the family. There will be staff members on hand to support those that need it.
