At the time of his disappearance, Jon was wearing blue pants, boots, and a beige and white flannel shirt over a white undershirt. The fact that he was wearing two layers of clothing suggests that he may have been prepared for inclement weather. Despite extensive searches by law enforcement and volunteers, there has been no sign of Jon or his vehicle. The circumstances of his disappearance remain a mystery, leaving his family and friends worried and desperate for answers.

Omg! I just heard the horrific news about the passing of Jon Lowris from The Pocono Snake and Animal Farm. I just cant believe it! Jon and I have known each other since age 6 and were inseparable as kids. Although our lives went in different directions, he taking over the family business and I traveling the country with my hotel companies, we always reminisced when we saw each other. I am so heartbroken by this news. Sending prayers to his family, Wife, Son, Brothers and his Mother Noreen. I just can’t imagine. RIP my friend.

I don’t know where to begin about the events that unfolded today. Jon Lowris was an amazing man. A great friend, great father and great business man in the pocono community. I’m truly shook and and saddened that we have lost such a light in this sometimes dark world. I can never understand why god takes the good ones. And I probably never will. Jon was one of those friends that you would talk to after a year and it was like no time had past what so ever. Amy Stoner if there is anything you need please reach out.
