The city of McKeesport has suffered a devastating loss with the death of a police officer who was killed in the line of duty. During a response to a domestic incident, one officer was fatally shot and another was seriously injured. The City of McKeesport is asking for the public’s support and understanding as they go through this difficult time. All schools and buildings in the McKeesport Area School District are under lockdown as a result of the police action in the area. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the McKeesport Police Department during this tragic and traumatic time.
