Who was Matt Davies?
Matt Davies was the Owner and Founder of projectFLY, a position he has held since December 2015. While details about his personal life are limited, it is known that he attended Rainhill High School and was born in 1991, on May 6th. Matt was from the town of Rainhill and currently lives in Liverpool, suggesting that he may have a strong connection to the area. As the Owner and Founder of projectFLY, Matt has likely played a significant role in the development and success of the company. However, beyond his professional accomplishments, not much else is known about his life or background.

How did Matt Davies die? What was his Cause of death?
Matt Davies, who had contracted Covid-19 in 2020 and suffered from a weakened immune system, faced a new health crisis in February 2023. His partner, Eleanor, called an ambulance at 1 am on Monday, February 27th, and Matt was taken to the A&E Hospital. The medical professionals provided exceptional care throughout the week as Matt fought against four chest infections, which included pneumonia and septic shock. He was on a heavy dose of antibiotics and was reluctantly placed on ventilation due to his deteriorating condition.

Despite the family’s prayers for his recovery, Matt’s health rapidly declined over the last 24 hours. He passed away this morning, peacefully, due to the medication. Despite the tragedy, the family is grateful for the care and support that the health professionals provided during this difficult time. It is a reminder of the dedication and commitment of healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to save lives, even in the most challenging circumstances.
The cause of his passing will be known following the postmortem, and his loved ones will always remember him for the courageous battle he fought.

So young, much too young. Cost me some nerves when he announced the A380, it looked good and then vanished suddenly but he certainly had extremely hard times, not only in terms of flightsimming business.
