It grieves me deeply to announce this, but on Sunday evening, June 18th, my younger sister, Maddy Maddux, tool her own life. It is really difficult to find any words, but needless to say my family and I are heartbroken.
Maddy and I shared a special bond. She was there for me at my best times and at my worst, and I for her. She loved to be with her people, and she was always up for an adventure. Maddy was fun, beautiful, had contagious laughter, and unapologetically loved vibrant colors just like our mom did. She was more than my sister, she was my friend. I am going to miss her so much, and I hate that she is gone too soon.
Please keep my two nieces, Phoenix and Paisley, in your prayers as they now are without their mother. I will post funeral arrangements as soon as I can.
I’ll love you forever, Maddy.
For those fortunate enough to have known Maddy, her infectious smile and contagious laughter will forever be etched in our memories. She possessed an extraordinary ability to love and genuinely care for every person she encountered, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched.

Oh Maddy Maddux you had a heart of gold! Even though we lived in different states The moment I met you we clicked and you would always pop in and check on me while I was going through my divorce. We bonded further through both of us loosing our moms at such a young age and would try and navigate what life without them looks like. Praying so hard for your sweet girls that you loved more then anything in the world. Praying for your family and friends. Shocked and heartbroken . All the sunflowers for you sweet girl
