Landin had a deep connection with the outdoors, often spending his days hunting, fishing, and riding horses, occasionally causing some delightful chaos along the way. He took great pride in his knack for fixing things, and his afternoons were dedicated to his beloved horses, Junior and Ember, whom he diligently cared for in the barn.

Landin was an active member of the Midland County 4-H, and his love for animals was evident in the way he cared for his horses, goats, dogs, and especially his dear companion Dexter, who felt more like a brother than a pet.

Landin, a beloved teenager, was a student at Bay City Western High School in Auburn, MI. Sadly, reports indicate that Landin passed away due to an apparent suicide after a prolonged struggle with depression, a mental illness that can be very serious and even life-threatening. It’s crucial to recognize that depression can become extremely dangerous, particularly when it leads to thoughts of self-harm. Landin was dearly loved, and her untimely departure has left a profound sense of sorrow among everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Obituary And Funeral Arrangements

A special ceremony to remember and honor Landin will take place at Auburn United Methodist Church on Thursday, September 14, 2023, starting at 11:00 a.m. After the service, there will be a meal where people can share memories and support each other. Landin’s family will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. onward to welcome anyone who wants to join and pay their respects. It’s a time for family and friends to come together and remember Landin during this difficult period.
