It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of Kelly Kramer, a resident of Tucson. Kelly passed away on Friday, March 31st, 2023 following a fatal car accident. Kelly was known for her vibrant personality and her contributions to the community will be deeply missed.
Kelly Kramer was a skilled counselor who earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from National Louis University. Prior to her time at Rollin T. Gridley Middle School in Tucson, she spent three years serving the Altar Valley School District as their sole guidance counselor for over 600 children in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. During her time there, she provided individual, group, and SEL class level assistance, as well as leading restorative meetings following interpersonal confrontations. Additionally, Kelly was responsible for coordinating all 504 meetings, drafting and reviewing 504 plans, and referring students for additional evaluations when necessary.
Apart from her impressive professional achievements, Kelly was also known for her lively and entertaining personality. She had a joyful disposition and always found pleasure in the small moments of life. Her positivity and approachability made her easy to talk to and a delight to be around. Kelly’s passing is a significant loss for those who knew and loved her, and her contributions to the counseling profession will always be remembered.
