Kara Santorelli Accident: How it happened?

Tragedy struck early Friday morning when a wrong-way vehicle collided with another vehicle, resulting in the deaths of two people. At approximately 12:41 am, the Florida Highway Patrol received a report of a white Chevrolet sedan driving southbound in the northbound lanes of Highway 29, near Quintette Road. Both vehicles were traveling northward when they collided head-on. One of the vehicles involved in the collision was a burgundy Nissan SUV driven by an 18-year-old female from Molino. Although the driver was still inside, the Chevrolet caught fire almost immediately. Sadly, both drivers were confirmed dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was identified as Kara Santorelli, an 18-year-old senior at Northview High School. The identity of the driver of the Chevrolet remains unknown.

The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident. The tragic collision highlights the dangers of driving on the wrong side of the road and serves as a reminder to always exercise caution while driving.
