Who was Jeremy King?
Jeremy Lee King was born on June 19, 1982, in Lincoln, Illinois, to his parents Ricky and Karen King. He grew up in Paducah, Kentucky, and graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School in 2000. Jeremy went on to attend Murray State University, where he received both his bachelor’s degree and a master’s in safety engineering. He later became a safety consultant and was the principal owner of CSP-Safety, where he was known for his expertise and dedication to his profession.
Outside of work, Jeremy had a passion for the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing, and playing on the farm with his kids. He also enjoyed traveling and would often make stops at souvenir stations along the way, in search of unique and interesting purchases. Those who knew him will remember him as a gregarious and outgoing person who never met a stranger. Jeremy was known for his wealth of knowledge, which he shared generously with others, always accompanied by a big smile and his unforgettable laugh. He was also known to be “the boss” in many situations and was loved for his “fun facts of the day,” which he never failed to share.

Jeremy Lee King was a 40-year-old man originally from Paducah, Kentucky but residing in Troy, Tennessee at the time of his passing. On Friday, February 17, 2023, he passed away at Baptist Health Paducah, leaving behind family and loved ones. At this moment, the cause of his death remains unknown. Jeremy Lee King is survived by his wife, Terri Doughten King, along with their two daughters, Anna Starr King and Ellie Morgan King, and one son, Owen Lee King. He is also survived by his parents, Ricky and Karen King of Paducah, one sister, Nakomi Feldmann (Jason) of Cincinnati, Ohio, one brother, Joshua Lee King of Paducah, Betty Ruth King, his paternal grandmother, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The passing of Jeremy was not the first time the family had experienced loss, as he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Levon and Lavonda Chilcoat, as well as his paternal grandfather, Cayce King. Obituary and Funeral Arrangements
Funeral services for Jeremy Lee King will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. The service will be officiated by Rev. Joel Reynolds, who will lead the family and friends of Jeremy in mourning his passing. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held at the same location from 3:00 pm until the 6:00 pm service time on Tuesday.
