The State Police are currently investigating a traffic accident that led to the death of a motorcyclist in Hermitage. The incident took place on Route 322 in West Fallowfield Township, Crawford County, on a Saturday afternoon. The accident occurred when a small car came out of a parking lot and crossed the path of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The collision between the two vehicles was severe, causing the motorcycle rider, a 62-year-old man named Jed Davis, to be taken to UPMC Horizon Hospital, where he unfortunately passed away.

The driver of the car, an 80-year-old man named Lawrence Aymar Jr., and his passenger, a 77-year-old woman named Trudy Aymar, both from Pittsburgh, sustained minor injuries and were also taken to the hospital for treatment.
