It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Joseph Campanella, a former resident of Montclair, New Jersey. Joseph passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at the Hospice of New Jersey facility in Wayne. His family, friends, and community are mourning the loss of a beloved member who touched the lives of many during his time on earth.

Who was James Campanella?

James, a native of Montclair, spent his childhood in the city before moving to West Caldwell in 1963. Prior to his move, he resided in Montclair, where he established a long-standing professional career. He worked for many years at Star Auto in Montclair, eventually becoming the proprietor and manager of the establishment. James dedicated a significant portion of his life to the business before retiring in 2000. Along with his professional achievements, James was also an active member of the Vincent J. Russo Post 382 of the American Corps.

Throughout much of the 20th century, he participated in many activities promoted by the Post, highlighting his commitment to his community and country. James was well-respected in both his personal and professional life, and his contributions will be remembered by those who knew him for years to come.

How did James Campanella die? What was his cause of death?

James Campanella, a former resident of Montclair, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, at the Hospice of New Jersey facility in Wayne. Joseph is survived by his wife Anne, who was formerly Lombardi before their marriage, his three children, Rosan Morehouse, Phyllis Katssack and Rinoa Roche, as well as his grandchildren Ronald Morehouse, Carlyn Jeffrey, Adam Morehouse, James Katssac, and his great-grandson Evan Roche, who was bequeathed by him. Joseph also had a younger brother named Leonard P. Campanella, who joins the many others that miss him.

During his life, Joseph was known for his kind nature and generous spirit, which touched the lives of many who knew him. His passing has left a void in the lives of all those who knew him and loved him, and his memory will live on through his family and friends.

James Campanella Obituary and Funeral Arrangements

On Monday at ten o’clock in the morning, a funeral liturgy will take place at Saint Aloysius Church in Caldwell. This will be followed by the burial of the deceased at Mount Hebron Cemetery, which is situated in Upper Montclair. Before the funeral, there will be visitation at the Caggiano Memorial on Sunday, which will be open from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and then again from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Those who wish to pay their respects to the deceased may visit the memorial, which is located at 62 Grove Street in Montclair.
