Don Shane was absolutely one of my favorites. I enjoyed sports because of him. Though I grieve, this is our hope, for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 4:14

Two legends, both now gone. Heartbroken to hear of the passing of Don Shane. Don welcomed me with open arms when I arrived at WXYZ in 1997. Sports and weather go together and doing the 6pm news with Diana & Don was a childhood dream come true every day. From dancing at my wedding to hanging out between shows, he was always there to make me laugh.
