He made his professional debut on November 14, and his first point came on a jumper during MSU’s victory over Coastal Carolina on November 24. During the 2022-2023 season, he made 17 appearances for the Eagles and averaged 5.4 points per game, with a season-high 16 points against Toccoa Falls on January 3, 2023.

In the MEAC Championship quarterfinal win over Delaware State, he scored 15 points and made 5-of-10 3-pointers. Prior to his time at NCCU, Devin played at New Mexico Junior College, where he averaged 11.6 points per game. During his freshman year at Louisiana State, he made 24 appearances with an average of 6.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. In high school, Devin attended Stratford Academy in Macon, Georgia, where he was twice selected to the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association’s All-State team, Hoop Seen, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC).

He was known for his sharpshooting ability, with a three-star rating from 247Sports.com. As a senior, he set a school record with 28.0 points per game, and he was named the region’s player of the year during his junior year.
