Daniel Keane’s impact extended far beyond the confines of victories and championships. Joining the CBA faculty in 1977, Keane embarked on a nearly four-decade journey as a dedicated member of the history department. His commitment to education was unwavering, making him not only a respected coach but also a fantastic teacher.

Coaching Triumphs:

Coach Keane left a lasting imprint on CBA Athletics, particularly as the head varsity soccer and tennis coach. The varsity soccer team, under his guidance, achieved unparalleled success with 545 victories, five state championships, and nine Shore Conference titles. Simultaneously, the varsity tennis team secured over 600 victories and claimed sixteen state championships. Notable among these accomplishments were seven consecutive titles from 1980 to 1986 and another eight consecutive titles from 1988 to 1995.

Coach Keane’s contributions to CBA Athletics were duly recognised with his induction into the CBA Hall of Fame. His legacy surpassed mere statistics, encapsulating the essence of mentorship and instilling values in the young athletes he coached.
