Who was Connor Ramsey?
Connor, who was a 17-year-old senior at Ida High School, had a passion for soccer and was a devoted fan of Pink Floyd and various other bands and musicians, with a special fondness for Kid Cudi. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing Xbox, fishing, and going for car rides with his family and friends. During the summer, he would spend weekends with his close friend Evan at the lake, leaving his family behind. He was known for his eccentric personality, disheveled and fluffy hair, and his friendly nature. Despite being obstinate at times, he was a loving person and would drop everything to support his friends and had a great sense of humor that could make anyone laugh, with the exception of giving his sister a hug which was his favorite thing to do. People will remember him as a lively and kind-hearted young man.

Connor James Ramsey, a resident of Ida Township in Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at the age of 17. The cause of his death was unknown at the time of writing. He was born on April 5, 2005, in Monroe and was the son of Marcus and Denise (Barta) Ramsey. Connor was a senior at Ida High School and had a part-time job at Jimmy Johns in Dundee. He was well-loved by his parents, Marcus and Denise, and was a devoted son and a fantastic brother to his siblings, Rachel and Caleb. Despite the circumstances surrounding his death, Connor will always be remembered for the love he showed to his family and friends. His passing has left a deep impact on all those who knew him, and he will be missed dearly.

Funeral Arrangements
Visitation for Connor will take place on Monday, February 13th, 2023, at Rupp Funeral Home from 2pm to 8pm. On Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, a public viewing will be held at Light of Christ Catholic Parish in Deerfield starting from 10 a.m. The funeral mass will start at 11 a.m. and the burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
