His passing was a huge loss to the Globebusters team, and they shared how much his life had impacted theirs. Despite his passing, Bob’s memory and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved him.

Who was Bob Knodel?

Mr. Robert “Bob” Lawrence Knodel was born on November 6, 1960, in Denver, Colorado, to Robert Lester and Marcelline Oliver Knodel. He served in the United States Air Force and later became a Microsoft certified engineer and a Novell certified engineer. Bob Knodel was passionate about research and physics, which he studied in technology college, where he earned his associates degree. However, he is most notably known as the editor-anchor of the flat-earth, pseudo-scientific Youtube channel called Globebusters, and the co-founder of FECORE.

Bob Knodel gained notoriety for spending $20,000 on a laser gyroscope for a series of experiments to prove the flat Earth theory and Earth’s stillness. However, to his surprise, the experiments successfully proved that the Earth rotates exactly as natural science claims.

Bob frequently used anti-Semitic, racist, and homophobic hate speech against contemporary scientists during his shows and often threatened those who mocked him with lawsuits. Despite this, his contributions to the field of Physics will be remembered by those who knew him.

Anthony Gee  Wrote,

Bob Knodel has sadly died.

To some an Internet grifter and a science denier. To others an inspiration and a truth seeker. But to all a character we all felt we knew often promoting a great deal of debate and discussion. I’ve no doubt his family and friends saw a side of him we didn’t and will miss him. To them I send my condolences.

He leaves behind a legacy of the man who proved earths rotation then tried to cover it up so today of all days all I can say is…

“Thanks Bob”, may your ashes return to the earth and rotate for all eternity at 15 degrees per hour.

RIP Bob Knodel
