Notably, he made a significant impact as the event host at the Miss West Lothian charity event, where he played a vital role in raising tens of thousands of pounds for local causes. Having recently celebrated his 70th birthday, Alan was already in talks to coordinate the 2024 edition of the charity event alongside organizer Rachel Adam. Alan Scott’s passing was a result of a brain tumor. JD Fitness, where he was a client and member, shared the heartbreaking news on their Facebook account. The fitness community at JD was very fond of Alan, and they expressed their support and sympathy during this difficult time. They extended their deepest condolences to his wife, Margaret, and all of his family. Alan was known for his unique personality, always leading by example and supporting the fitness business and its owners, Jac and the poster. He had a talent for humor with his one-liners and served as their personal DJ. His memory will live on, and he will be dearly remembered as “Chief.” Rest in peace, Alan, you will never be forgotten.
